Beauty | Kiko Milano Connecticut Store Event

If you guys missed out on the KIKO Milano Summer Collection launch event in New Haven, Connecticut at The Shops at Yale last Thursday night – you missed a really good party.  I was so honored that KIKO Milano asked me to host this event – especially since the new Summer Collection is my favorite one yet!  If you’re unfamiliar with the brand, KIKO Milano is an affordable color cosmetics brand from Italy, now available in the US!

We kicked off the night by launching the limited edition Summer Collection – the most beautiful makeup I’ve ever seen (you may remember my spring post with KIKO Milano from a few weeks back HERE).  The Summer Collection is inspired by the passion for travel and gives you a perfect sun-kissed glowing complexion.  I’ve already shared my love for the Desert Moon Highlighter here on Oh So Glam – and it was definitely a hit at our event… it completely sold out by night’s end.

I also shared my favorite other KIKO Milano products to help spark ideas for the 25+ shoppers and bloggers that won a gift card through our social media contest!  Here are a few products I cannot live without:

Eyebrow Expert Styling Kit – a little miracle brow kit!  It comes in two shades (I currently use the lighter one with my lighter locks) and is basically everything you need to get picture-perfect brows.  It even has three little tools within the kit including a slanted eyebrow brush, applicator brush and tweezers – plus, it includes a wax to help set your style!

Invisible Lip Liner – another hit at our event!  Lip liner is having a huge moment in the beauty world right now – but honestly, who has a liner to match every shade of lipstick you have?!  The Invisible Lip Liner solves that problem by not only lining the lips to help with smudging, but also priming the lips to help keep your color looking fresh!

Intense Colour Long Lasting Eyeliner – if you’re looking for a long-wear eyeliner that doesn’t smudge half-way through the day, this is it!  It comes in so many colors, although I absolutely adore the Pearly Brown shade, perfect for everyday!

Mirage Lip Stylo –  from the new Summer Collection, it’s a creamy lipstick that goes on like a lip balm.  I love the Canyon Rose shade – a perfect rosey nude!

Desert Moon Highlighter – pretty much Heaven in a box.  I honestly think it’s the prettiest piece of makeup I’ve ever come across and is the most subtle and natural highlighter I’ve tried.  If you get it with the matching Kabuki brush, you’ll see how perfect this combo is.  I’m stocking up now because I don’t know what I’ll do when the collection sells out!
