It’s officially my first post coming to you from my 30’s!  I had such a great weekend celebrating my birthday with friends and family and spent a (thankfully) beautiful day at Gouveia Vineyards in Wallingford, CT!  This little off-the-shoulder number was perfect for the cooler temperatures we had for mid-July – it had to be my first birthday ever where I wasn’t melting and I have to admit, it was sort of amazing.  I received so many compliments on this dress and my friends could not believe where it was from.  Seriously, Abercrombie + Fitch isn’t just the denim company you used to know.  They have really stepped it up in their dress department and I scooped up a few new arrivals for some upcoming trips!

I love a simple off-the-shoulder dress and the long sleeves will carry perfectly into fall and will even look cute with some ankle boots!  I’m also crushing hard on this gorgeous maxi dress, and even debated wearing it to celebrate my birthday!  The floral ruffles make it super feminine – but, that lace paneling!  I love how it gives a simple dress such a cool edge.  Fall is just around the corner so it’s about that time to start stocking up on pieces that you can wear now and also save for later.  I also had my eye on this lace-up sweatshirt – another trend that will be sticking around again next season!
