Our weekend in Charleston was one of the best ones we’ve had in a really long time and I can’t wait to share all about it! I’ll be working on a full travel guide since I had a lot of you already ask about places to stay, things to do, what to eat, and what to wear – so look for that within the next week! We teamed up with the Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (@explorecharleston) and had access to just about every museum, tour and attraction that Charleston has to offer – and trust me, we made damn good use of it! This look was from our first day where we walked for 7 miles around the entire downtown – literally, every nook and cranny!
One of my Charleston bucket list items was seeing Rainbow Row – the cutest line of colorful houses close to the water. I think I stopped to take a picture of every single house on that street, because seriously, each one was cuter than the next! These cozy linen pants were perfect for the mild temperatures (it was a perfect 75 and sunny the entire time we were there), and this look was comfortable to spend the day in. I do have to admit, although these sandals were comfy, something a little more on the flat and less heavy side would have probably been more practical. I tripped on the cobblestone streets multiple times – paying attention to where I’m going is not a strength of mine when you’re looking at this scenery though, so can you really blame me?!
If you want to see what else I packed and a little sneak peek of some other outfits, head to my Packing for Charleston post from last week!
