His & Hers: Weekend Style

This collaboration has been a few months in the works and I’m so excited to kickoff a new series here on Oh So Glam: His and Her Style.  I’ve said it before… I know I’m very fortunate to have a man (and now fiancé) with such a great and easy sense of style.  Raja and I have been together a little less than 8 years and I’ve never had to dress him, never had to question his outfit choices and always seem to kind of be in awe that he’s able to put together such effortlessly cool looks.  Our style collectively has grown to be way more casual and practical than it was when we were in our early twenties for plenty of reasons… it’s funny how I cringe just thinking about those “club” days.

We’re both really excited to be teaming up with Bluefly today to show off our His & Hers Weekend Style.  We picked a perfect weekend (in between two snow storms) to head into Hoboken to visit some of our friends and do a little sight seeing in our old neighborhood.  Hoboken has one of the most spectacular views of New York City, so we headed down to one of the piers for a little morning coffee on the water.  I’ve been living in my Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee black leather boots all winter and was so pumped to add these dark brown versions to my wardrobe!  I love how they pair so casually with my favorite distressed denim and cashmere sweater.  If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably already seen me drooling over this insanely gorgeous Chloe bag.  It’s been on my wishlist forever and I can’t wait to carry it into spring when it finally warms up!

Raj ended up doing a little jacket switch-a-roo since it became absolutely freezing and windy during the day.  He started off by layering this quilted coat over his new Burberry button down which perfectly matched his new grey Chukkas.  He switched into his favorite leather jacket and added this Burberry scarf to help break the wind.  We ended up taking in some more of the view from my best friend’s roof-deck… much love to Jenn for taking these photos in the freezing cold.  That. Is. Friendship.
