Another look from NYFW last week – this outfit had by far the most screenshots I’ve ever had on Snapchat and I know you gals are dying for the details. I actually had this floral bomber jacket from last summer and I noticed it was recently restocked – just in time for Fashion Week! So, I planned this entire outfit around this jacket (it’s only $20!!!) and saved it for one of the cooler days that week (AKA when I wouldn’t be melting with it layered over long sleeves).
By the time the weekend had rolled around and I had been in NYC for about 4 days, I was ready for my hair to go up in a top-knot so I wouldn’t have to deal with it (okay, wash it). I went to my TRESemme family and had them throw it up in the best top-knot a girl could ask for. I seriously can never get a top-knot to look this perfectly un-done. Also, major high-fives that my hair even got into a top-knot in the first place. I felt like a new woman. #shorthairproblems
Since Fashion Week in NYC comes when it’s still insanely hot outside – I love to mix in fall pieces with some of my summer staples. If you’re looking for two things to invest in this fall – I would have to say these heels should be at the top of your list – and I would get them fast, because they’re selling out everywhere. Not only are they dupes for the most drool-worthy designer pair, but they are honestly so comfortable. I wore them bouncing around the city all day and didn’t get one blister – plus, they’re nice and low so my feet weren’t aching after a 12-hour day! They’re a perfect office option too but I love dressing them down for a little unexpected touch. Another hot item to get on your shopping list? This tie-front blouse. Mine is from Forever21 last year and they have a few similar styles HERE and HERE – and you can’t beat the price. If you really want to splurge on this trend, this blouse will probably last you 10 years. It’s the perfect layering piece and you’ll wear it ALL season.
Also, I had a lot of you ask about these cutoffs! You have to try to get One Teaspoon early in the season because they tend to sell out. I linked to a few sizes still left in this exact style, but you can find a similar option HERE as well!
I have one more look from Fashion Week coming up on the blog tomorrow and will also be sharing some fall trends on the blog later this week!
