Platforms are a total 90’s throwback and have been making their way back to the spotlight over the past year!  I lived in white sneakers last spring and summer but added a little lift this season with these fun platform sneakers from Marc Fisher — I styled them over the winter HERE!  I know your next question — I’ve been asked a ton on social media recently… are they hard to walk in?  These sneakers actually feel the same weight my adidas sneakers from last year — they definitely aren’t as clunky as they look, so walking in them isn’t as tough as you’d think!  Plus, the leather is butter soft and they are a breeze to break in.  It’s no wonder I barely want to take them off!

If sneakers aren’t your thing — you can still try the platform trend in just about any shoe this season!  I loved these platform sandals from last year (so much that I scooped them up in tan for our upcoming Mexico getaway) and these Marc Fisher wedges are the IT shoe of the season for sure!  I also love these mesh platform sneakers (I have a very similar style from last year) and these fun platform loafers that were all over Europe last summer.  If you’re looking for a more moderate platform, I absolutely adore these sandals — I have last year’s version in cognac!
