Trend Edit: Blazers Are Back

The blazer and suit trend is in FULL force right now and I’m loving every bit of it.  I remember when blazers made a comeback around 2009-2010 and I would wear them EVERYWHERE — literally from work, to out to a bar, to any semi-formal event (since it was acceptable to wear with dresses).  Let’s take a trip down memory lane, SHALL WE?! I wore one with skinny jeans and a cami, with lace shorts, over a floral dress… I even wore one with cargo pants?!  WHY NOT?!?!  I told you… I wore them to death.  I love this trend (once again) because a) I’m always freezing, so any excuse to add another layer that’s super stylish is fine by me and b) you feel CHIC almost immediately and look like you have your $h*! together!

I am OBSESSED with the one I’m wearing above — this brand has such great pieces at a really affordable price point (where you don’t sacrifice quality).
